Seventh and last round of the WMX World Championship which brought some changes to the manufacturers’ classification. We remind you, the best rider from each motorcycle manufacturer brings her number of points in each race.
Yamaha wins the WMX Manufacturers’ World Championship title. The Blues scored points from Lotte van Drunen (34) this weekend. The vast majority of points were contributed by Lotte but let’s not forget that in Italy, it was Danée Gelissen who allowed the brand to score points. Daniela Guillen brought 47 points to GasGas which finished second in the manufacturers’ championship just 3 points behind Yamaha. Kiara Fontanesi also scored many points throughout the season. KTM finished on the podium. The points of the weekend were scored by Sara Andersen (8th) in the first race and Lynn Valk (6th) in the second. Both riders allowed the Austrian brand to have a good season. Kawasaki managed to recover fourth place overall thanks to the points scored by Courtney Duncan (47) in Turkey. The end of the season for the New Zealander allowed a nice comeback. Martine Hughes scored points for the brand at the start of the season. Both riders were injured at the same time. Honda finished fifth in the standings thanks to Charli Cannon (34 points) this weekend. The Reds were led by Larissa Papenmeier throughout the season. Husqvarna took sixth place thanks to Fiona Hoppe who added 4 more points this weekend.
