GNCC : Brandy Richards back on the top step of the podium

After a summer break, the GNCC championship was back this weekend in Newburg. Brandy Richards won her third time. Shelby Turner is out, focusing on other championships for the end of the season.

 

Brandy Richards wins, championship tightens

Brandy Richards took the lead. The KTM rider battled with Archer throughout the race before winning on the last lap. A victory that allowed her to regain a few points in the championship where she remains in third position. Rachael Archer is second today. The Kawasaki rider tried everything by catching up with Richards before overtaking her on the third lap. The championship leader has to settle for second place, 10 seconds behind the winner. She gains a few points from Steede but the championship is very close and undecided. Korie Steede is third today. A very good first lap in contact with the two leaders before dropping off the pace. The Husqvarna rider is third today but maintains her place in the championship with a one-point lead over Richards.



Danielle McDonal signs her best performance

Back in the United States after her victory last weekend on the AORC Australia, Danielle McDonald took fourth place today. The Yamaha rider achieved her best performance in the GNCC championship. Prestin Raines was fifth today. The Sherco rider showed consistency, and consolidated her fifth place in the championship. Addison J Elliott was sixth. A good first lap completed in contact with Raines. A little alone in the second lap, the KTM rider had to fight in the second part of the race to keep this place on the finish line.


Kayla O'Neill has a very good race

Kayla O’Neill had a tough first lap. The Yamaha rider then attacked throughout the rest of the race to close the gap on the rider in front of her. She dropped back to seventh after the halfway point, but was half a second behind Elliott at the finish line. Ruby Fustini had a very good start to the race behind Elliott. Battling with O’Neill, the KTM rider finished eighth. Carly Lee took ninth on the day with a strong final lap. Kaitlyn Lindsey rounded out the top 10 on the day. Samantha Farr was eleventh.
