After this seventh event, discover the ranking of the WMX World Championship. Lotte van Drunen takes the title of world champion at only 17 years old. Daniela Guillen finishes second with the victory of this weekend. Kiara Fontanesi is third with a podium in Turkey.


Lotte van Drunen wins the WMX world champion title for the first time. She becomes the youngest rider to win this title. The Dutchwoman had two solid races but took no risks especially in the second race. She handled the crazy pressure on her shoulders during the last two rounds well. Congratulations. Daniela Guillen won this last round and therefore finished second in the championship, 4 points behind the winner. The Spaniard tried everything this weekend by trying to score as many points as possible but it was not enough. A very good season. Kiara Fontanesi finished on the podium of the weekend and recovered third place in the championship. The Italian is back to her best level and is not far from victory this weekend. After her retirement this Saturday, Lynn Valk no longer had much hope of finishing on the final podium. The Dutchwoman had a second correct race and finished fourth in the championship. She won the GP of Italy and did not go far in Germany. Courtney Duncan, with her second place this weekend, gains several places to finish fifth in the championship. The New Zealander, who had a complicated start to the championship, finishes with two podiums.


Larissa Papenmeier closes the championship in sixth position. In the battle for the final Top 5, the German has a good GP but finished six points behind Duncan. Her season was marked by her victory in her HomeGP. Sara Andersen is seventh. The Dane struggled this weekend and was unable to compete with Duncan or Papenmeier for the Top 5. Consistent during all the others GPs, Sara was penalized by the weather conditions encountered in some rounds. Danee Gelissen takes her best ranking with eighth place overall. The Dutchwoman has gained momentum over the course of the championship. A very good season. She is two points ahead of Malou Jakobsen. The Dane, who is also having her best season, made a few mistakes in this last GP which cost her a better place. April Franzoni completes the Top 10. The Frenchwoman, for her first full season, achieves a great result. Consistent, she will be one to watch in 2025.


Mathea Selebø is eleventh in the championship. The Norwegian has a good end to the season. In difficulty on the first two rounds, the Top 10 seems within her reach. Despite her absence on the last three GPs, Shana van der Vlist finishes twelfth. Martine Hughes is thirteenth. The Norwegian has the potential to be in the Top 10. Absent on three events, she has a very good first race in Turkey. Lucy Barker is fourteenth. The British who won the title of European EMX Women champion this season, has started her championship well with the objective of a final Top 10. Unfortunately for her, the sequence of GP of Italy and GP of The Netherlands did not go as expected. A good season. Alexandra Massury finishes fifteenth. The German has been very consistent throughout the season. She has struggled on the sandy tracks but has had a very good championship.


Fiona Hoppe is sixteenth in the championship. The German has scored points in every GP. Generous, she made a few mistakes but it’s encouraging. Laura Raunkjaer is seventeenth. The Dane had a sluggish start to the championship but finished the championship well. She scores points in every race she has participated in. She is ahead of Tyra Bäckström who has participated in only three rounds this season. The young Swede has shown great things. Amandine Verstappen is nineteenth. The Belgian has participated in only two rounds but finished in the Top 10 each time. She will be back for the entire championship in 2025. With her fourth place this weekend, Charli Cannon enters the ranking in twentieth place. She has proven that she has her place in the championship.


Jana Sanchez Nequi is twenty-first. The Spaniard has shown great things in the races she has been present in. She is followed by Britt Jans-Beken who has been absent for many rounds this season. Too bad because the Dutchwoman is doing great things. Elena Kapsamer is twenty-third in the championship. The potential is there but the Austrian was unlucky. Injured this weekend, we wish you a good recovery. Janina Lehmann is twenty-fourth in the championship. The German has had a very interesting end to the season. Amber Simons is twenty-fifth. Present only on the two sandy GPs of the season, she has qualities on this type of track.


Matilda Huss is twenty-sixth. The Swede has qualities, and it would be worth seeing her more regularly in the championship. She is ahead of Nancy van de Ven who competed in her last GP at home. Mathilde Martinez is twenty-eighth. The Frenchwoman will have had a very complicated season. In difficulty at the start of the season, she found the cause of her problems. She is ahead of Barbara Aagaard Andersen who scored one point and Cecilia Polato who scored one point in Türkiye.
