ISDE 2024 : Day 2 – Results

The second day of the 2024 ISDE has just finished. Brandy Richards had another very solid day by setting the best time. The American is ahead of her opponent in the GNCC championship, Rachael Archer. The New Zealander set the best times and finished 27 seconds behind Richards. She is three seconds ahead of Mireia Badia. The 2024 Enduro World Champion had two good stages in front of her home crowd. Tayla Jones had a great day with fourth place just over a minute behind. She is one second ahead of Francesca Nocera, who finished fifth on the day. The Italian had a much better day than yesterday. Jessica Gardiner is sixth on the day. The Australian had a very good day by showing consistency. Rachel Gutish is seventh on the day for the United States. Shelby Turner is eighth on this second day. The Canadian is one second ahead of Hedvig Malm. The Swede shows great consistency. Ava Silvestri completes the Top 10.

The United States widened the gap a little more, led by Brandy Richards. The other two drivers finished in the Top 10. Australia kept second place, 3 minutes and thirty seconds behind the leaders. Danielle McDonald showed great speed but small mistakes cost her time. Sweden consolidated third place with its three consistent drivers. France remained fourth, 10 minutes from the podium. Elodie Chaplot, Justine Martel and Mauricette Brisebard were consistent and made few mistakes. Spain remained fifth in the standings, led by their leader. Nieve Holmes led Great Britain, which remained in sixth place, almost three minutes ahead of Canada. New Zealand remained eighth. Italy moved up to ninth place with good performances from Francesca Nocera and Sara Traini. Germany lost one position. Team Europe was eleventh following the retirement of Gabriela Cipkova.
