After a 2024 season without a full-time female rider (with Aida Cojanu only competing at the GP of Türkiye), the JK Racing Yamaha team is making a strong comeback by signing Nellie Fransson for the 2025 WMX World Championship. This marks a bold move for the Italian team, which has previously nurtured top talents like Lynn Valk and Charli Cannon.

The young Swedish rider, Nellie Fransson, is no stranger to european races. She made her WMX debut during the GP of the Netherlands, where she earned 7 points—an good performance for a first outing at this level.

In 2024, Nellie showcased her potential by finishing seventh in the EMX Women European Championship, proving her skill. As she steps into the international spotlight for the full 2025 season, she will face off against the world’s best riders in a highly competitive environment.

With JK Racing Yamaha, Fransson joins a team known for its commitment to developing elite talent in women’s motocross.
