The ISDE 2024 will take place from October 14 to 19 in Silleda (Galicia) in Spain. Discover all the riders who will be present to compete in the Women’s World Trophy.
The defending champion team USA will be represented by Brandy Richards and Rachel Gutish, winners in 2023. In this victorious team, Korie Steede had to withdraw and will be replaced by Ava Silvestri. Second last year, Australia returns with the same team, Jessica Gardiner, Tayla Jones and Danielle McDonald. France, fourth last year, is back with the same team composed of Justine Martel, Elodie Chaplot and Mauricette Brisebard. Deprived of Tanja Schlosser, Germany will be well represented by Samantha Buhmann, Celine Heistermann and Laura Soller. Elizabeth Tett, Emily Hall and Nieve Holmes are selected to represent Great Britain.
Emma Sharpless is the only survivor of the Canada 2023 team. She will be accompanied by Courtney Schmale and Shelby Turner. Italy is back, led by their leader Francesca Nocera, Sara Traini and Asia Volpi. At home, Team Spain will be able to count on Enduro World Champion Mireia Badia. Nora Esteban and Maria San Miguel will also be present. Emelie Karlsson, Linea Akesson and Hedvig Malm will represent Sweden. US Enduro Champion and recent GNCC winner Rachael Archer will be the leader of New Zealand with teammates Taylar Rampton and Kylie Dorr. A European team will be present with Zuzana Hunger, Gabriela Cipkova and Jana Korenkova.
The United States and Australia are the big favorites for these ISDE 2024. Fourth last year, France will count on its team to go for the podium. But during the six days anything can happen, and many drivers will be keen to play the leading roles and take their nation to the podium like Rachael Archer, Francesca Nocera, Mireia Badia, Nieve Holmes, or even Emelie Nilsson.
